Demetrius Navarro

Demetrius is a 4th generation Texan and native Houstonian. His grandfather, a prominent role model, owned a successful auto repair shop in downtown for over 60 years. In his grandparents’ home he was raised with a heavy focus on education and strong work ethics. This has provided the foundation for who he is today; a paradigm of strength, integrity and honesty.
Demetrius began his insurance career in 1985 with Cigna Individual Financial Services. This position provided a vehicle for marketing, sales, service, development and implementation of financial planning strategies to high net worth individuals, business owners, corporate executives and retirees. This led to the development and entry into the executive and employee benefits arena. From that point, he obtained his license and became an insurance agent / broker, working with national property and casualty firms for almost a decade.
With a vision to provide his clients with hands-on, personal service and the best products, Demetrius started and has successfully maintained his own insurance agency for over eleven years. His work is distinguished through industry knowledge and smart business practices, honed over 25 years of client interaction and experience. He takes pride in the reputation Navarro Insurance Group has earned for value-added service and the ability to effectively deliver what clients need and want, with quality and professionalism.
Navarro Insurance Group was recently recognized as an E-10 recipient by the Houston Minority Supplier Diversity Council and is certified Small/Minority Business Enterprise by the following agencies:

He maintains membership in the HHCC, HMSDC, Greater Houston Partnership (GHP) and other minority and small business organizations and is a Board of Directors member of the Houston Livestock Show and RodeoTM.
Demetrius is a proud father of two boys and has been married to his lovely wife, Martha, for twenty five glorious years. They are both extremely active members of their children’s schools and the family’s church. His oldest son, Nathan, is a sophmore at TCU and an Eagle Scout.
