Diva Herazo

President, Biomedent

A native of Colombia, Diva Herazo, earned her B. S. in Communications from one of the top Journalism schools in her country. In 1990, she was offered her first position as Director of Media & Public Relations, for a distinct Television station in Bogotá.

By 1998, she was a well recognized executive and Ms Herazo’s career took a ten-fold leap when she launched her own event production company, H&H Productions, managing and promoting international artists.

She moved to the United States in 2002, where she began to get involved in the community through outreach programs, working for different non-profit organizations and volunteering at the Houston Mayor’s Office.

In 2005, she co-founded with her husband, Jose Habib, Biomedent Inc., a dental and medical mobile management company that performs preventive and comprehensive services using mobile facilities brought directly to schools, businesses, and communities. Our mission is to create easy community access to affordable high quality preventive and comprehensive dental care, through the use of state of the art mobile dental equipment delivered in a friendly, professional, and convenient manner. All biomedent services and offerings are built around our core principles of flexibility, affordability, convenience, and technology. Biomedent also provides identification x-ray services to major multi-national corporations for personnel that are sent on assignment to the Middle-East.

Her amazing ability to make connections between people, creating alliances and partnerships, have earned Ms Herazo and Biomedent, Inc. several award nominations and are certified by the Women Business Enterprise Alliance and Texas HUB.

Her gift for building relationships, trust, and bond with anyone she encounters has been instrumental in the growth of Minuto de Dios, a non-profit organization that provides homes for Colombian families in need where she is Logistics Director for Houston. 

Furthermore, Ms Herazo is a board member for the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and resides with her husband and two children in Texas.
