M. HELEN CAVAZOS

M. Helen Cavazos is a human resources and diversity executive with extensive background in a variety of industries to include retail, insurance, financial services, oil industry and media. She has a proven track record of success with increasing responsibilities in human resources management, diversity and leadership development. She is a team leader with collaborative skills and abilities working wit senior management, peers and colleagues at all levels within an organization.

She is a respected community leader and advocate of equal opportunity, fairness in all aspects of life and work experiences. She has received recognition for her professional and community contributions by various organizations throughout her career.

Prior to joining METRO, she owned a human resources management and executive search consulting company with a few select clients in the top 500 list of corporate America.

At METRO, she is a member of the Executive Management Team, reporting to President/CEO, Frank J. Wilson, and directs the overall management, administration and implementation of METRO’s Human Resources & Diversity Department.

This includes Staffing, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Assistance (EAP), Drug & Alcohol Programs, HRIS (HR Information Systems), Organization Performance & Development, Equal Employment (EEO), Affirmative Action, Employee Relations and Personnel Services.
