Ron Acosta

Ron Acosta is the Regional Manager-RVP in Operations Region 20 for the Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

He was born in Los Angeles, CA and moved to North Carolina where later on he attended the Western Carolina University. There he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Counseling. He has been married for 21 years and has 2 children.

Ron has been with the company for 23 years. He started in 1983 as an hourly associate while attending college. After graduation he went into the training program. He held the position of Assistant Manager for 3 years and then was promoted to Store Manager in 1986. He held that position for 6.5 years an then was promoted to District Manager in 1991. After 11 years as District Manager, he became the Regional Manager for Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
