The American Marketing Association – Houston has recognized the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as one of its 2015-2016 ‘Marketer of the Year’ finalists.

The Chamber’s recognition comes based on the redesign and rebranding of its logo, visual identity, and digital platforms which was executed in March of this year. Announced at its Annual Luncheon, the rebranding represents the Chamber’s commitment and vision for the future of the Hispanic community, and the region, as a whole.

“We feel honored to receive this recognition from AMA Houston,” said Dr. Laura Murillo, President & CEO of the Chamber. “We believe that this new visual identity represents what our vision for the future of this organization is. While we’re grateful for our storied past, we’re really excited about what the future holds for Hispanic Houston and the Chamber!”

The Chamber’s rebranding efforts included a redesigned logo, a new website design, as well a renewed focus placed on its various social and digital channels. The response from the community – as well as Chamber members and stakeholders – has been overwhelmingly positive, and the nomination reinforces that sentiment.

The nomination was made by a national panel of marketing experts who scored the Chamber’s marketing efforts as one of the top in the region. The Best in Category winners will be announced at AMA Houston’s Marketer of the Year event on October 24th at the Alley Theater in Downtown Houston.
