Houston business leaders sound off on Trump victoryCindy • Nov 08, 2016
Donald Trump’s surprising victory at the polls Nov. 8 will usher in a new era of federal oversight and objectives for the U.S. economy. As to what that will mean for Houston’s business owners and their employees is yet to come.
Local business leaders sounded off as to what they expect.
“Trump is obviously very pro-real estate. Combine that and the potential of relaxed regulations on the oil and gas industry bodes well here. Our economy, which has become more diversified, will benefit from that as well as increased business from the port and the medical and biotech industries. All will bring new residents to the area and increase residential sales.”
