Conversaciones Con Dra. Laura Murillo’ To Debut On KTMD Telemundo Houston

Telemundo Houston, KTMD, and the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce are expanding their partnership with a new monthly Spanish-language program, Conversaciones con Dra. Laura Murillo, set to premiere June 25.

The 30-minute show, produced in collaboration with the chamber, will spotlight Hispanic businesses, leaders and community initiatives across Greater Houston. It will air the last Sunday of each month at 5:30 a.m.

Murillo, president-CEO of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, will serve as founding executive producer and host. The program will be shot at KTMD and will feature interviews, panel discussions and in-depth stories about business development, leadership and economic opportunity.

“This partnership represents an exciting opportunity to further our shared mission of serving and empowering the Hispanic community in Houston,” said José Flores, KTMD president-GM. “Through this new program, we will amplify the voices and stories that drive economic growth, innovation and cultural pride across our city.”

“We are honored to expand our long-standing partnership with Telemundo Houston and its affiliates,” Murillo said. “This program will serve as a powerful platform to inform, engage and empower our community, while highlighting the incredible contributions of Hispanic businesses and leaders throughout our region.”

The launch coincides with Telemundo’s preparations to provide Spanish-language coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Murillo holds a bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate from the University of Houston and is a graduate of Harvard University’s Women on Corporate Boards program. She is an international bestselling author and was recognized in 2026 by Latino Leaders magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Latinas in America.
