Houston Dynamo FC and the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
(HHCC) today announced an expansion of their long-standing partnership, entering a new chapter designed
to celebrate the global game, drive local economic impact, and unite the Greater Houston community.
This strengthened alliance will be heavily integrated into the upcoming
Houston Dynamo Soccer Celebration, presented by Kroger, creating deep, meaningful connections
across the region.

Central to this evolved partnership is a shared commitment to honoring the rich cultural tapestry of Houston.
To kick off the next phase of this multi-year relationship, HDFC and the HHCC will collaborate on providing
hospitality and amplification for Chamber members at Shell Energy Stadium. This includes events throughout
Houston Dynamo Soccer Celebration, including Mexico National Team Live Viewings and Dynamo international
friendlies against Club Olimpia Deportivo on Saturday, July 11, and Colombian giants América de Cali on
Wednesday, July 15.

“We are thrilled to expand our long-standing partnership with the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
under the visionary leadership of Dr. Laura Murillo,” said Jessica O’Neill, President of Business Operations
for Houston Dynamo FC. “Having worked together for years, we know that soccer’s true power lies in how it
reflects and honors our local communities. This partnership has always been about more than just sports —
it’s about lifting up local businesses and bringing Houstonians together.”

“Our deepest appreciation to Jessica O’Neill and the entire Dynamo/Dash Team for this extraordinary
collaboration opportunity as we prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup,” said Dr. Laura Murillo, President
& CEO of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “Together, we are uniting Houston’s top CEOs,
entrepreneurs, and community leaders to leverage this historic event, drive economic growth, strengthen
international partnerships, and showcase Houston as a premier global destination.”

As part of a mutual effort to elevate local entrepreneurs, the expanded partnership will amplify HHCC member
businesses. Furthermore, select Chamber members will be directly integrated into key Soccer Celebration events
and into the heart of the soccer festivities.

The partnership is driven by a collective vision between organizations and the leadership of
Dr. Laura Murillo, President and CEO of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. A native
Houstonian and daughter of Mexican immigrants, Dr. Murillo has spent nearly two decades transforming the HHCC
into a powerhouse of economic influence and one of the premier business organizations in the nation.

A Houston Business Journal “Most Admired CEO,” named among the “Most Influential Women in America” by
Latino Leaders Magazine, and a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Dr. Murillo, a #1 International
Bestselling Author of Lead in Life: People, Passion, and Persistence, serves as the driving force
behind this community-first collaboration.

Dr. Murillo also serves on the Executive Committee of the Harris County Houston Sports Authority, directly
influencing major soccer initiatives like the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 programming.
